University of London (UOL) – Overview

The University of London is one of the largest, most diverse universities in the UK with over 120,000 students in London, and a further 50,000 studying across 190 countries. Academic direction of programmes offered at SIM is provided by Goldsmiths, London School of Economics and Political Science and University College London.

We recently welcomed the 35th intake of the LSE-led programmes. In fact, SIM will celebrate the 35th anniversary of the collaboration with UOL in 2021. The repertoire of programmes has grown to now include Accounting, Banking, Business Analytics, Data Science, Digital Innovation, Economics, Finance, International Relations, Politics, Management, IT and Computing.

In 2020, classes commenced for new programmes with Goldsmiths’ Department of Computing. The BSc programmes in Computer Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Web and Mobile Development saw enrolment grow ten-fold from semester one to semester two! We also started a suite of postgraduate programmes in Data Science, AI and FinTech led by Goldsmiths.
